Currently based in Florida and in business for years. We are one of the few consistent and dedicated analog video art gear makers around for what is also known as video synthesis, glitch, psychedelic television painting and live projection wizardry. The gear we currently offer are modified from obsolete devices built in the 80's and 90's, re-created to be used today in applications such as music videos, film-making and experimental art via companion video tools: computers, VCR's, televisions, thrift-store camcorders and digital cameras.
Mostly analog in nature and unlike any digital computer software available. These devices built from the past, made new today through the Tachyons+ lab, offer new dimensions in creating visuals and displaying video in forms that reach to an obscure history of circuitry in hand with a bright future of color and movement.
The video gear we have produced are being used by professional and amateur video artists from all points in between including Japan to London to Russia to NYC to Los Angeles to Brazil to France to Singapore to Canada to Australia to Saudi Arabia to Seoul. Currently we are designing a new video gear code-named The Lightlord.
